Ffair Tafwyl

Dydd Sadwrn, 23 Mehefin 2012, 12.00 – 20.00Am y tro cyntaf erioed bydd ffair yr ŵyl ar y 23ain o Fehefin yn cael ei chynnal yng Nghastell Caerdydd, ac yn rhan o ddigwyddiadau Gŵyl Caerdydd.
Bydd stondinau amrywiol yn y ffair yn hyrwyddo cynnyrch Cymreig; yn ogystal â gweithdai a sesiynau llenyddol, cerdd, comedi, celf, coginio a drama. Bydd prif lwyfan gyda pherfformiadau byw gan artistiaid gwerin, roc a phop mwyaf llwyddiannus y sîn gerddoriaeth Gymreig, sesiynau acwstig, diddanwyr stryd, sesiynau dawns, maes chwaraeon, a gweithgareddau i blant o bob oedran.
For the very first time the ‘Tafwyl’ Fair will be held at Cardiff Castle on the 23rd June, and will be a part of the Cardiff Festival events.
The aim of ‘Tafwyl’ is to both promote the wide range of Welsh language activities held throughout the year in Cardiff and to raise the profile of the language in the capital.
A wide range of various activities for adults as well as children will be held from art, music, cookery, comedy and literature workshops to stalls selling Welsh produce. On the main stage Wales’s leading rock, pop and folk musicians will perform, and throughout the day there will be acoustic music sessions, street entertainers, dance sessions, a sports area, and all sorts of activities for children all of ages.
