The Company
Calon evolved from humble beginnings in 2006, making patchwork cushions and lavender hearts for birthday presents. We had amassed a considerable collection of beautiful vintage fabrics and haberdashery out of our love for all things pretty and unique.
Today, we are a mother and daughter team who design and create unique items for the home and for you. All of our hand-made products are made in Wales to the best possible quality using new and vintage fabrics.
Our products and product lines are constantly evolving based on trends and on our ideas – and on what fabric we find, and then run out of!
We sell our products at lots of events and fairs around South Wales throughout the year; but our annual highlight is attending the Country Living Christmas Fair in London where we have had a stand for the past four years. In 2010 we were very excited and pleased to be featured in the pages of Country Living Magazine!
Calon operates bilingually through English and Welsh. We are very proud to be doing something different by offering some of our products with hand-embroidered words in the Welsh language. We often get told that these products are being sent to Welsh friends and family in far-flung destinations all over the world!
We like to be open and friendly in everything we do, so please get in touch if you have any questions, comments, or favours to ask! If there is a product you fancy but in a slightly different style or colour for instance, we will do our best to make whatever it is that you require.
